In this book you will find a sample of the History of Clothing expressed through the lives of all these significant women. Yet fashion is a noun with different meanings. Less obvious yet tantamount to individual attire is the cultural fabric that underlies our story. Fashion, in this sense, is best conveyed with the words of author Dan Brown,

“Two thousand years ago we lived in a world of Gods and Goddesses. Today, we live in a world solely of Gods. Women in most cultures have been stripped of their spiritual power”

This work began as an adventure story that has its origins in a sewing basket. Like so many ideas it arrived unannounced. It became this book only after several characters were brought to live again through the skill and fashion expertise of the author. The book contains more than 240 images.
An unknown toy company provided the miniature mannequins. Sonia Budner provided the courage and determination to catalogue what became a cadre of protagonists that arrived to complete the undertaking. The authorship is theirs; we just provided the cast with their wardrobes and gave them this stage.
