I feel so blessed and so grateful to everyone who helped me with this project.

​

To my husband, Stephen, who  made  a fantastic  job with the  English version edition and photography, not only this, it was for a long period of time he took care of everything else while I was working on this.

​

To my mother, and my grandmothers, a grand saga of skillful tailors, from which I inherited this passion and taste  for fashion,  fabrics, textures, colors and shapes.  I had some  moments when I could even hear them  all,  directing me here  and there, while I  was immersed  in this  collection.  I am so proud to have their talents running through my veins.

To my sister in law, Pamela,  who helped me with one of the chapters of this book and is always near for us.

​

To all my ladies,  of course.  It was a long  journey studying all of them  and trying to capture the essence

of each one. I learned a lot in the process.

Especially grateful to  Mrs. Amelia Valcárcel.  She pointed me in the right  direction  and it was through her teachings that I finally found myself writing about this.
